FireFly instrument utilizes Laser-Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (LIBS) for high-speed large-scale elemental analysis of solid samples. 2D scans can produce chemical images of the elemental distribution, and multi-spot analysis provides depth profiling. FireFly is sensitive to most chemical elements, including light ones. No sample preparation and no chemicals are required.
